As Sirius got home and found his parents, he told them a well elaborated story about regretting his actions and that he'd be willing to marry a girl that'd make them proud. At first his parents were suspicious about what happened to change their son's mind, something they spent years trying to do and now he just changed. But Regulus saw right through him, he knew this behaviour was only an act, he knew Sirius just wanted his parents to save Y/n from her doomed marriage with Malfoy so he could marry her, Sirius was smart he had to admit, convincing their parents that they were the ones who wanted Sirius to marry Y/n was cunning. He just found weird that his brother would want to get married, but then again he saw right through him, he fancied Y/n, obviously and that's why he was so weird about it.

"You fancy her" Regulus said as matter of factly as he pushed Sirius close to him. "You want to marry her and not only to save her from Malfoy isn't it" He's assumption made Sirius flustered for the second time that day.

"What's with you and James with this assumptions today, i don't fancy Y/n, I just can't stand seeing her suffering in a engagement she doesn't want to be in" Sirius was starting to get mad, but deep down he was starting to doubt his intentions, was she really just a best-friend with benefits for him or was she something more? No, she was just a friend.

"Whatever you say brother" Regulus said leaving to his room.

Sirius' parents managed to convince the Watsons to give their daughter's hand to him after they found out about Lucius, long letters and agreements were needed, but they set a dinner meeting. Truth is that his mom wanted him to marry her as much as he did, it would mean that Sirius would unite the Royal family of Watson with the Noble house of Black and for the first time, since Sirius' first words she was immensely pleased with him. Until their parents had a few more things sorted out, took them a couple days, Sirius got nervous, because he promise he'd make it back to the Potters fast, but this arrangements took more time than he thought it would and after what Sirius heard, apparently Y/n's parents were hiding that she was 'missing'.

"I'm so sorry for waking you up, I just had a nightmare" she murmured.

"Hey, hey, it's okay, i'm here" he tightened his grip around her and kissed her forehead.

"Sirius, if my parents are going to do, what I think they are" Y/n said her voice a bit weaker this time "Can I ask you something?" She look up at him from hist chest.

"Is everything alright with you parents?" She stared at him and raised her eyebrows as if waiting for an answer "Anything love, but what do you think your parents are going to do?" he said caressing her cheeks, looking at her lovingly, but still, worried.

She sighed "The way Malfoy was talking about… it seemed like… I don't know- but it can't be good." She lied, she was almost sure of what her parents had planned for her. "Ugh I do everything right for them and now- now they probably know i'm 'off their premeditated tracks' and they do this to try to control me. They're cruel" she sighed again, annoyance in her voice.
